The most quoted verse in all of scripture is about God the Fathers public display of love in the giving of his Son! When the crisis was sin; God chose radical generosity in the giving of his Son! In this covid-19 crisis, we want to reflect the love of the Father by being generous to our community!
One of our values here at TC is to be compassion-hearted. There are significant health, financial, and security challenges for our neighbors in the city of Trenton therefore there is a great need for the Church to show the love and compassion of Christ to our neighbors at this time. While we're all working to "Slow the Spread," of the virus we want to find meaningful ways to "Show the Love” of Christ to our city in this time of crisis!
On Sunday, May 24th-31st we will launch our #WeShowLove campaign to benefit our neighbors in need. From May 24th-May 31st every dollar that is donated to the TC Benevolence Fund will be given away directly to individuals in the Greater Trenton area that have been negatively impacted by Covid-19. Our goal is to raise $10,000, and we’ll give away 100% of the proceeds to those in need!
If you are a member of TC, or reside in the Greater Trenton area our church is committed to offering you support in this difficult time. Gifts given during this campaign will provide immediate, practical relief for individuals and families in our area who are challenged as a result of this crisis. Our team will connect with each person or family to assess their needs then we will do our best to allocate the available funds for certain bills, groceries, utilities, etc as needs arise.
