T-LIFE

Tuesday, March 23, 2021

If you go to a family reunion, wedding, or homecoming there is one thing that you will notice, someone got a lot older, someone got a lot heavier and someone will look almost unrecognizable. That’s because a good amount of time typically transpires between the last time you have seen these people. What happened? Well, it could be a rough life, maybe too much fried chicken or maybe its just age catching up to someone. What would people say about you after they haven’t seen you in a while? The truth is, you have some control over how you look and feel but you will transform as time goes on whether you like it or not. I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that no matter what you do, you will age and your health typically works on a bell curve, meaning you will grow to full maturity and then it’s a slow progression down hill, no matter what you do. Some people may age more gracefully than others but you will continue to get older and weaker.  If you don’t believe me, ask Run from Run DMC.  That was the bad news.  The good news is that if a person is born again as a believer in Christ they can transform for the better and there is no bell curve.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. - 2 Cor 4:16

No matter what’s going on with our earthly bodies, we can be renewed every day. That transformation is what I call T-LIFE. There is no limit to how wise and loving you can become.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” - Romans 12:2
